SIGNATURES DATE REMARKS
Mr. JOHNSON. 18.9.16. Should be tested before standardised - C.J.
Mr. ROYCE. 18.9.16. Will approve after long enough test to prove it sufficiently free from knocks. At present no pistons in Aluminium are passable but those fitted to 49 GD. - F.H.R.
Mr. WORMALD. 20.9.16. We should not standardise these parts until we have had further reports from HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}, EF and Hives, as to whether they are good enough for our chassis. - WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}
Mr. PLATFORD. 18.9.16. Prefer to wait until further tests, i.e. Commander Briggs' Car - W.P.
Mr. BAILEY 14.9.16. I do not think we should do this until further trials are completed. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}
MR. NADIN. 19.9.16. I don't agree until a definite report on their behaviour has been made and a statement of a number of miles run - NA.{Mr Nadin}
