My dear Burt,

I ought to have let you know long since about the Continental.

It seems to me less good than the 25 at all things, with the exception of speed and here again no very great thrill is obtainable. At the very outside it is 27 m.p.h. faster than the 20/25, and to get this speed would cost me about £1000. I don't think it is worth while. If the Phantom II was really fast - it would be another story.

Without being rude, Derby never could spring motor cars and the Continental seemed to me too hard at slow speeds. A 1930 6½ Bentley I had was quite stable @ 85 with a closed body and was much more comfortable @ low than the Continental.

Thanks so much for taking me out.

Yours,

(sgd) C.R.Skinner.
