Newark-on-Trent.

For the attention of Mr. Hickling.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 15th october, and agree that it would be as well to postpone running a test on a steel cage until we have completed 10,000 miles on the new Dural cage.

With regard to the 35 m.m. bearings, we shall probably be ordering some of these from you shortly.

We find we have one of the original sets supplied that have the brass cage. We will return this to you to have a strengthened Dural cage fitted, and hope that you will make sure that all future bearings have the latest type cage.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
