TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to CJ. REF HSL/LG 15.9.21 E1/G1/10/21 3 ORIGINAL X.805 RE DELCO STARTER SWITCH. With reference to your report HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG15/9/21, Mr. Royce would like to know what actual evidence have you got that copper carbon switches fail under foot operation. Also does it cure the failure to remove the carbon? Mr. Royce points out that the carbon is put in actually to protect the copper and in itself at the voltage we use should be indestructible. Here it comes! E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} R asking HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} why? Have you any real evidence? | ||
