-3- HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}2/KW.27.12.34. 20/25 HP, Carburetter, LOP, E.60092. Details of Modifications necessary. Carb, body E.60068 modified to EX.15729. Suction Piston. The initial lift of .250" (present standard) is reduced to .200". Needle. A new needle is required. This detail to be decided later when the final carburetter is tested. Air Intake. A new passage to be incorporated in the casting side by side with the present one as explained in HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}2/KW.8.10.34. The Experimental carburetter already in existence should be inspected. Float Chamber Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} Thicker "vellumoid" washer to be used. Lid{A. J. Lidsey} to be held down by 3 screws instead of 2 as at present. There is normally a label fixed to this lid{A. J. Lidsey} mentioning R.R. and S.U.patents. The fixing is such that serious leakage can take place (rivets). This label could be moved to a position underneath the second label which mentions the accurate adjustment of the carburetter. | ||
