| To EFC. from R.{Sir Henry Royce} R7/G9/10/19. Would you kindly get the Experimental Dept. to make for me two little plates to replace the attached which have stripped threads. Although the instrument to which these belong is an old one, it looks as if the pitch of the thread is BA proportions. The little brass castings should have longer threads, that is, they should be about twice the thickness at the boss. Will you also supply two black fibre washers .750" diameter .100" thick, with hole just to clear the thread of the attached screws, also two brass washers, bevelled edge, .750" diameter .08" thick with hole just to clear the thread.
