1029 [REDACTED] c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ------- DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/G.3.10.38. BENTLEY 111 and 50. FRONT BRAKES. Referring to the difficulty experienced in fitting the dust cover accurately to the brake adjuster housing, with a flanged pressed hole, as originally designed, we send herewith FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}274 which shews a proposal for substituting a rubber ring for the metallic fitting, thus making a dust and water proof seal without the need of great accuracy. A rubber ring should be tried first, and should any disadvantage be apparent, Neoprene or Gaco could be tried. AFM{Anthony F. Martindale} Do you want this?
