re PHANTOM II STARTER GEAR
-------------------------

We have recently had one or two complaints of the starter gear failing, and we have found the flywheel teeth are badly damaged, which necessitates replacement of this gear, which has been a very expensive job.

The possibilities of the cause of this have been investigated. There is one feature, however, to which our attention has been brought, and that is that the two terminals are the same size and when fixed on wrong, cuts out the teaser winding and causes bad crashing.

It has been suggested that these terminals should be made different sizes, so as to make this impossible.
