Phantom II. drawings modified to meet American Requirements. This cannot be done without knowing exactly what the requirements are. Consequently, drawings giving the fullest possible particulars should be sent to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} covering following parts:- (Drawings should be accompanied by explanatory notes covering the "why and wherefore" of the design). 1. Outline of American standard Straight side 19" x 7" wheel and tire in standard Phantom II location on front and rear axle, showing clearance from crosstube etc. 2. Series 2501 bumper, modification of front and rear horns and attachments for bumpers. Arrangement showing location on car. 3. Lamps: (a) Headlamp and mounting, 2501 series. (b) Sidelamp and mounting, 2501 series. (c) Rear Lamp and mounting, 2501 series. (d) Arrangements showing passage of cables to lamps. (e) Stop light switch with Photograph showing operation from brake pedal. (f) Backing light switch showing position in gearbox, 2501 standard. (g) R.Bosch foot operated dimming switch showing location in pedal plate. (h) Location and mounting of front and rear number plate. 4. American battery and box, 2501 standard.
