E.A.C.7. TOOL BOX ON RUNNING BOARD.
----------------------------------

The proposal to use Staybrite for the protecting cover of the box fixed to the underside of the lid{A. J. Lidsey} has been turned down by West WitteringHenry Royce's home town on the ground of:-

a/- not being necessary,
b/- too expensive.

The point I had in mind was that the position of the box is such as to ensure it being well sand-blasted with water and sand from the front wheels on wet roads. Possibly some kind of a hanging cover may be arranged later, if trouble develops.
