TWO. Costs are an important matter but are low in the case of the booster because it only requires a simple mechanism to do all that I have described. Although accuracy is required in any first-class machine, the torque booster need cost no more than a gear-box, clutch, and controls. As no device has been able so far to do anything that compared with what the torque booster will do, I expect to see my invention in general production. I am making the proposals to yourselves in the first place because the association manufacturing perfection with inventive perfection is a good thing in itself and certain to benefit both parties. Yours faithfully, John Craig | ||
