Dear Robotham,

Thanks for your letter of the 21st instant.

I quite appreciate your difficulties, and in view of the present weather it is just as well to leave the job for the time being. I shall wait until I hear from you.

With regard to my car, it is really very difficult to do without it at the moment, and I should appreciate it if you could keep your brother-in-law quiet for a bit, and if he gets frantic you will have to let me know..

Incidentally, I am just mentioning this for what it is worth, a fellow called Greenwood stopped me the other day. He seemed to be a Bentley dealer (unofficial). He knew all about my purchase and he did not like the B.5, because with independent front wheel springing it dipped badly on cornering, and I was to be sure to tell you to put gelatine in the shock absorbers.

I am not suggesting for a moment that you do, because I know you know more about these things than this man and all the other people put together, and I am only repeating hearsay.

Perhaps you will deliver your answer when I see you!

Yours sincerely,

C.L.Breeden

C.S.
