27 EX Battery. Exide 6XHR11-IML Dagenite 6BGD.11SG{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} This battery, 6BGD.11SG{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} is assembled in a 6 compartment Dagenite container. Each cell is connected by lead links burned to the posts. The output (capacity) of this battery is 67 ampere hours at 10 hr Rate. The method of securing the battery is by two long 1/4" studs which clamps the battery to the box as on the Beaufort. The Exide has a similar unit type no. 6XHR11-IML. The Exide gave 87.5 ampere hours at 10 hour Rate but has a slightly higher internal resistance. This Exide battery was received in a charged condition while the Dagenite was received in a dry condition.
