J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Howlett, Esq.,
Messrs. Wellworthy Piston
Rings Ltd.

5th November 1938

of co-operation at your end, you personally
are given a very wrong impression of what
is happening here. Rolls Royce too, are
misinformed, and because of it impetuously
suggest that only they can produce a
satisfactory alloy, which is very wrong of
them.

I quite appreciate the position
in regard to the development of these
bearings, and regret you could not get either
myself or Mr. Robinson on the telephone yesterday,
although we were here all day, because I do
want you to inform me at once of any possibility
of delay in the future.

Yours sincerely,

H.G. Herrington.
