SALES DIRECTOR'S OFFICE.

Motor Dept
Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,
DERBY.
Attention of Mr. C.S. Steadman.
Dear Sirs:
Further to our recent correspondence in reference to Thermometer tubing arrangement, after pursuing this matter with our Works - as you are interested in the small diameter tubing with armouring we are prepared, subject to reasonable notice, to manufacture this design without extra charge.
The cost is in excess of our present tubing but we consider that it would be to our mutual advantage to employ the smaller diameter material.
Awaiting your instructions.
Yours faithfully,
For S. SMITH & SONS (Motor Accessories) LTD.,
[Illegible signature]
SALES DIRECTOR.
