X1588. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FP.{F. Potts} BY11/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 30. 4. 24. LUBRICATION. Pt. has written Sales, making a definite statement that the 5000 miles allowed in our Instruction Book before the oil is changed in the engine is too long. I have informed them that we have a modification in hand to the Instruction Book by which we change the oil after the first 500 and the second 500 miles, but I would like to know whether you agree with Peat's recommendation that we should change the oil after every subsequent 3000 miles.
