OUR REF. M/5.

18th September 1925.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. Fowler Clark.

Dear Sirs,

With further reference to ours of the 15th inst. replying to yours of the 10th re R.R.11 battery which did 28,000 miles in France, we showed your letter and report to our Works and they point out that the battery was received on 16/6/24 and it was not put on the car until ten months later, after which it did the 28,000 miles. It may have had therefore a good deal of work on the routine test and life test in ten months which might be equivalent to another 10,000 or 20,000 miles use on a car.

Yours faithfully,
PETO & RADFORD.
G.R.N. Minchin
