With regard to G.W.H's 17,000 miles report on B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}, the explanation of the three weeks' delay between the date of the report and its receipt is that G.W.H. commenced to prepare this report, but did not finish it, before his last visit to the Works at Whitsuntide. The report was completed upon his return to Chateauroux, and reached the Experimental Dept. on Tuesday last, the 16th inst., when it was circulated immediately.
