Dear Sirs, In reply to your letter of the 13th instant re Scheme 1, are we to understand that you require another three discs for three wheels to complete the four wheels for which you have one sample? We would respectfully ask you if you could return this, and the other samples we sent to you, as these are only samples we have made up and are of an experimental character. We shall be pleased to make you four road wheels for Scheme 1 as samples, and we will not consider the price until final settlement. If you do not go on with the scheme, then we shall charge you a nominal figure, but until you adopt it, these samples will be free of charge. In regard to your last paragraph, we have actually made no detailed drawing of the scheme as again in this instance, the discs have been made only experimentally, and we would only make final drawings when the actual articles have been approved.
