Further to our memo EJJ/JV1/JC10/4/35, in this memo we called for 50 yards of Batch 684 Asbestos Covered Compensating Cable. This Cable has been delivered, but is not in accordance with the above specification, and we consider that the cable will not last as long as the cable previously supplied, a sample of which should be collected from this department, and dispatched to Messrs. The Cambridge Instrument Co., Ltd., for their examination. We shall be glad to hear their remarks upon the same. In the meantime we not using the cable which has been dispatched to us. EJJ/JV. | ||
