We much regret to note from yours of yesterday's date that your Tester in France reports a further Jackall Bracket fracture and, in accordance with your wishes, are arranging to make up immediately a pair of strengthened brackets which will be despatched to you at the very earliest possible moment. Meanwhile, we are sending you a pair of standard brackets enabling you to carry on your tests. The writer is also sorry to learn over the telephone this morning that the Ram replacement which we had the pleasure of sending you a few days ago for Chassis No. 28-X again shows signs of leaking. We ought to state here that our Works report that when the Jacks were returned to us last week they were found to be perfectly satisfactory on test. In the circumstances, we propose immediately the Ram arrives making further tests and, when these are completed, our Engineer will -with your kind permission - visit you for the purpose of examining the job on.... | ||
