Electrical system modifications for the Peregrine chassis 6PER.

NEXT PEREGRINE CHASSIS ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.

In connection with the next Peregrine chassis number 6PER which we understand is to be completed the following items should be incorporated in the electrical system.

(1) Dynamo.
This should be to D.sch.546 with the poles and armature modified to expl. drawings XL45 and XL46.

(2) C.A.V.regulator unit.
This should be built up to D.sch.621.

(3) Starter Motor.
This should be to LOP.D.101364 D.100274 with the exception that the field windings should be arranged experimentally with the main winding all on two poles and the teazer on the other two poles. The pinion D.100235 should be made in forged Max Horton pinion aluminium bronze.

(4) Switchbox.
This should be to D.100349.

(5) Battery ignition Distributor.
This should be made up to LeC.3323 with modified cam D.100524.

(6) Coil and ballast resistance.
A standard 20/25 coil and ballast resistance should be fitted and the ballast should be screened with shield D.73838.

The rest of the electrical items including the wiring should be to the existing LOP's.
