Owing to the unfortunate accident to 4-B-IV car we shall not be able to test the "Aluminized" exhaust fittings made up for this car for some time, and therefore we would like this system complete per Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}8/KW.16.1.35 fitting to B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} for 10,000 miles test in France. All the parts have been made and are at present in the stores ready for fitting. If this system successfully completes its test it will mean a weight saving of approx. 1 1/2 lbs. on the car, and a saving in cost of material of between £2. 0. 0d. and £2. 10. 0d. per car.
