CJ. originated the standardisation sheet and decided which officials should sign them.

The view he expressed was that no matter how certain the engineers were that a certain part was right, the administration considered it should be run 10,000 miles on the road before it was delivered to customers.

We recommend that CWB. is put on the standardisation list. There does not appear to be any necessity for this to be referred to R.{Sir Henry Royce}
