-2- The point that these tests have brought out is that for the moderate current density usually obtaining in normal sparks from battery ignition, the XM.1000 material proved itself to be superior to the more ordinary bakelite. We feel that we can confidently recommend this XM.1000 material as standard for rotors and distributor heads, the only question being as to whether the moulding of this in production quantities can be satisfactory.
