According to arrangements made at W. yesterday,it is understood I shall meet you on Thursday, the 13th instant, with a view to trying the above car, and it was suggested by Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} that a meeting place between Derby and London would be perhaps most convenient to all concerned, with Kettering in mind.

I therefore propose, if convenient to you, to meet this car at Kettering on Thursday of next week, and suggest that we probably would like to lunch there at the same Hotel as we did last time, and then proceed on our way. I forget the name of the Hotel for the moment, but Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} knows it because he happened to be there on the last occasion lunching at the same time.

In order to get the most useful contrast between the present car and the above, I shall probably drive one up to Kettering, and then if we do not need it with us at all send it back from there and I can return from Derby by train, as I presume we shall motor back to the Works from Kettering.

Would it be possible while at Derby that day to have a look at 9-B-V ? This chassis is fitted with what I understand to be one of the production bodies of which we are ordering a large quantity. I have never yet seen one of these bodies, and should very much like to do so because it will soon be too late to make any suggestions if any are to be made. If, therefore, you could possibly arrange, without inconvenience, to have 9-B-V at the Works that afternoon, it would be a great help.

No doubt you will drop me a line tonight, or anyhow so that it reaches me here on the Wednesday after Easter, stating whether this programme is O.K.
