X7425. X1148. X7420 CROSS STEERING TUBE BALL ENDS. -------------------------- There are no drip plugs in the lubrication pipes to the cross steering tube ball ends. Unless the ball pads are fitted into the steering arms in the correct position, the lubrication holes will not be in the centre of the pads. If the lubrication holes are not in the centre of the pads and the front axle is lubricated with the steering on a lock, all the oil from the gun will run into the atmosphere from these pads. We therefore think that there should be some definate location so that these ball pads must be fitted up in the correct position. We suggest some scheme similar to that used to the 20 HP. pendulum lever ball end. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
