X4589 EFC2/T. 10th February, 1925. Messrs. The British Lighting & Ignition Co.Ltd., B.L.I.C. Works, Cheston Road, Aston, Birmingham. Dear Sirs, With reference to your letter enquiring as to our experimental position with the Electrolytic Regulator Equipment, a number of bench tests have been made, from which it appears that there are possibilities in this apparatus, but the whole series of bench tests projected has not been completed. The greatest trouble with the apparatus has been the vigorous gassing of the regulator cells, indicating that in use on a chassis, very frequent topping up of these cells would be necessary. Yours faithfully, | ||
