PARTS FITTED TO 6.EX CAR. X3923. X4544 1. Petrol Tank with Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11 side filler and level indicator. There is no arrangement drawing for this tank. The filler has been lengthened and the level indicator has been slightly modified to suit the 40/50 tank. 2. Dover steering wheel fitted to steering column. 3. Klaxon switch on steering column. 4. Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) -11 ignition and lighting switch made suitable for magneto and battery. 5. Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) battery ignition. We are using the standard Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) battery ignition unit. In order to do this we have had to reverse the rotation of the driving shaft. This also has reversed the rotation of the oil pump. * In order to avoid altering the suction & the delivery pipes on the oil pump, we have moved the bottom cover containing the relief valve, 180°, and also moved the pump itself round 180°. X a clever adaptation. 6. Earthed wiring throughout. Used in conjunction with Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) Distribution board. The wires are run in Simplex steel tubes. 7. Standard Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11 dynamo. Fitted with belt pulley and usual suspension fittings fitted to the Lucas dynamo. 8. Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))-11 spare wheel carrier. 9. Complete hot spot throttle. 10. Position of starting carburetter control on instrument board. to be operated from Driver's seat 11. Removable cast iron valve guides fitted to cylinders. 12. Carburetter float chamber with filter. 13. Autovac feed fitted to car-buretter. We have fitted the original Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) type tank. contd:- | ||
