The writer had an opportunity yesterday of viewing the Seapak and cappet finished on the dashboard of the trials car 3-AZ-38.

The finish of the carpet was very disappointing after seeing the models which were made up in the Exptl. garage.

Our chief criticisms are that there was no leather laced cover over the wiring tube at the dash, no means of holding the carpet together at the split in the centre, and that the bottom edge of the carpet does not overlap the floorboard.

On making enquiries we find that Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} has not yet issued any instructions re the fitting up of this scheme, and think perhaps it would be an advantage if Mr. Archer saw our model, so that he could pass on the information to JLE.{J. Lee Evans - Chassis Test Manager} and others concerned.
