Y4240 BJ. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY12-P7.3.23. 20HP. SHUTTERS. Referring to BJ18/H3323, we note that Sales consider the nickel silver finish to radiator shutter louvres is a mistake. We would like to point out in this connection, however, that R.{Sir Henry Royce} considers the polished appearance improved the car, but in view of Sales attitude in this matter we will carry on with the black enamelled louvres as at present. We certainly would like to point out, however, that the enamelled louvre gets scratched and dirty and certainly does not improve the appearance of the car, whilst it is distinctly difficult to obtain a lasting and creditable black finish on this particular fitting.
