Herewith please find copy of our report on the inspection and test of the electrical units taken from 10,000 mile chassis 79-AO. It will be seen that generally speaking the condition of the whole system is very satisfactory, the only positive faults during test and subsequently being:- (1) Failure to charge correctly at one period due to slightly sticking brush and insufficient brush spring pressure. (2) Burning of starter motor switch contacts, due to loss of oil. (3) Breakage of stay of battery box support. EFC. EFC4/T7.11.23 att½ | ||
