re WIRELESS INTERFERENCE - BENTLEY CARS
(B-25-EJ)

With reference to the complaint we had some time ago with the above chassis suffering from interference when using the wireless, when they blamed the cut-out mechanism. We have now learned that the trouble in this case has been overcome by the low tension wires to and from the coil being screened and bonded.

It is reported that the trouble was due to these low tension wires picking up the high tension current; this, we understand, will now be their general practice, and we are anxious to bring this to your attention in case you have any comments on this matter. On the contrary, if what they say is correct, the feature should be established on your list of points necessary for attention to cars where wireless is fitted.

The wireless system in this case was an 'Ekco' type.
