Smith} 12/7 You will, I know, be interested to read reports I have now received from Jack Barclay in regard to the Bentley-V he is using and from Sclater Booth regarding our Trials Car which I loaned to him for a week-end. Whilst opinions differ to some extent about the chassis features, there seems to be a general condemnation of the comfort of the back part of the body. I was pretty sure this criticism would arise from those who sat in the back of the car as my report after using the car at Whitsun indicated.
