| Ho X4427 Karntoil Adaptors EVERY motor car owner and motor cyclist knows that the least reliable part of his machine is the sparking plug. No certainty whatever can be attached to its functioning properly. Probably 90 per cent. of road troubles result from sooted or oily plug points. Eliminate these troubles and place the functioning of sparking plugs on a foolproof basis, and motoring is robbed of practically all its unpleasant and annoying touring stoppages. Pat. No. 4314. It is easy to understand why sparking plugs are so readily liable to break down; the electrodes are fully exposed to the carbon deposits resulting from combustion, and also to liquid oil drawn up past the piston rings. With the exception of Karntoil Adaptors there is nothing on the market to-day which solves the above problem. Karntoil adaptors were not patented until they satisfactorily prevented plugs from becoming oiled or sooted up even when engines were literally flooded with oil, i.e., crankcase full, and cupfuls of oil poured into the cylinders. Karntoil Adaptors are a necessity. It matters not what make of car or cycle (two strokes included) you own, you can guarantee yourself against all misfiring resulting from over-oiling. The Karntoil Adaptor is made to screw into the cylinder head and threaded on the inside to accommodate existing types of plugs. The baffles in the adaptor isolate the plug points. Simple to fit—take out your plug—screw in adaptor—screw plug into adaptor. From the moment you do so you will be free from sooted or oily plugs without any further attention beyond wiping over the baffles once or twice a year—that's all. As for your plug—it will then last indefinitely. Karntoil Adaptors cost 4s. (postage 3d. extra). They will save you endless bother and expense, and will guarantee you against oiled or sooted plugs.
