Messrs. Lodge Plugs Ltd.
Rugby.

For the attention of Mr. Bernard Hopps.

Dear Sirs,

40/50 Plugs.

We are returning to you under separate cover 1/2 dozen S.1 plugs which have been running on one of our Phantom II cars. After approximately 3,000 miles we find that only two of the plugs appear to be firing on the pick-up. We know that you have not been able to understand some of our results with these plugs and therefore thought you might like to have some unsatisfactory specimens returned to you.

We are pleased to note that you have despatched to us one dozen Model HD{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}14/3 14 mm. plugs and one dozen Model HD{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}3 plugs. We shall be pleased to give you our test results in due course.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
