-Continued- particularly fortunate. The worse that has happened is that in the November raid, my son had his house in Coventry made uninhabitable and the contents soaked with water, and yesterday week he was still more fortunate during the raid on Nuneaton, having moved into that district recently, the nearest that he had to any damage was that incendiaries were dropped through the roofs of houses on both sides of him, but he escaped any trouble. I have recently had one or two letters from Captain Black and called to see him at his invitation on Wednesday of last week. During this visit, he told me all the news in which I was most interested. He mentioned that you had called to see him, so I am sure you will know all that has transpired. With kind regards. Yours faithfully, | ||
