To Shipping Office. c. Despatch Stores. c. Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/Ms. X.1782 EFC9/T22.9.20. X.1782 - WESTON INSTRUMENT. We are sending into the Stores for return to Messrs. Weston, for readjustment, one of the new box instruments, Model 163 No.98, recently received. Will the Order Office kindly write and explain to Messrs. Weston that this instrument failed by sticking high up on the scale quite early on in use, and previous to our breaking the seals. We considered we might be able to rectify the instrument by so doing, as we have done before in the case of another instrument. However, we were unsuccessful, and it is necessary to return this to the makers for readjustment. Will Shipping Office kindly give the necessary instructions to the Despatch Stores and will the O.O. kindly write accordingly. EFC. | ||
