A.P.L./E.H. KIGASS IGNITION Distributor Test Oscillations. (1). Local tests O.K. (2). Following distributor, we are having made a new coil, a new wiper. Today, we ran the coil up to 25,000 sparks per min. no evidence of any breakdown. We switched the distributor across the spark gap, and I was unable to get any oscillations with this but when this changeover is very easy of accomplishment. Tests. (1). Local tests O.K. (2). A new coil, distributor, side of scale 10" x 5", 15 turns, low 10' to 12' amps. On H.T. side of coil, instrument 1' to 1.5 amps, i.e. oscillations about 2.5 to 3 amps. This coil burnt out (secondary). All readings constant. More trials probably on Wednesday. | ||
