- 2 - BY16/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 16.11.26. ------------------------- I attach hereto BY/HEB{H. Biraben}21/M.15.11.26. explaining the position in regard to the modified side steering tube proposed for C.2. Series, under R's scheme. If you are in agreement with the introduction of Items 2 & 3. as specified in R's memo and defined above, then it will mean a certain amount of scrap will have to be fixed. The need for all three of the above items has arisen since the lightened front axle was standardized as a result of complaints put forward as a result of Mr.Hancock's experience in continued driving of the new lightened front axle under French conditions. Possibly you would like to discuss this matter with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and myself if I have not made it sufficiently clear in the foregoing explanation. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} [Signature] | ||
