Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Mantell.

We have today wired you as follows :-

"IF POSSIBLE WOULD LIKE MANTELL FOR CARBURETTER TESTS MONDAY NEXT - WRITING".

We shall have completed our bench curves on your carburetters on Wednesday but are arranging to fit them up on a car between Wednesday and Saturday so that if your Mr. Mantell could come up on Monday next he will be able to see what performance they give on the road.

It would, of course, be easily possible to revert to the test bench, but we are anxious to see what their road characteristics are.

Yours faithfully,
