In view of the fact that two aluminium heads are going through for the cars, we have summarised the information at present available from aero engine tests which have been going on, and we attach this information, and sketch showing the dimensions which we think would be suitable for the Bentley valve seat. The main point is that we think it possible to get a stiff seat without reducing the area of the exhaust valve throat appreciably.
