Referring to the second paragraph of your memo, there appears to be a misunderstanding with regard to mileage. When this car came to K for starter trouble and we found the oil level very low, we understood that the car had only covered about 84 miles since the owner had filled the sump to the proper level. It was after the car left here on that occasion that it did 600 miles before the engine breakdown occurred. This confirms what was stated on Owner's Complaint report No. K.49. PK.
