WAR CONDITIONS In the present state of National Emergency we feel that it may be helpful to you if we say it is our intention, notwithstanding the difficulties of the position, to supply the requirements of our customers for The Chatwood Products so long as circumstances permit. We shall endeavour to maintain prices, but as conditions may make increases inevitable orders can only be accepted on the understanding that prices are subject to increase for advances in cost of labour, materials and transport rates. Acceptance and execution of orders are necessarily subject to labour and materials being available, in view of the increasingly stringent control of both by the Government, including the Iron and Steel Control Scheme. We shall continue to do all we can to help with regard to delivery, and it is in the interests of our customers to provide a Government Order Number whenever possible, for without this the delivery date is determined by the Limitation of Supplies Order.
