Proposal to test full-size aero engine cranks cut from scrap shafts.

We propose following this up by making tests
on full size aero engine cranks, Falcon, Eagle & Condor, which
can be cut from scrap shafts. The capacity of the testing
machine is 150 tons inches, which it is thought will be sufficient
to break these.

We hand the fractured test pieces to Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}, for
examination, and to forward to R.{Sir Henry Royce}
