X.1198. 6 Volt Willard Battery for Packard Car.

In order to put 12-cylinder Packard Car in a saleable condition it will be necessary to obtain a suitable 6 volt battery for this. The Exide batteries do not appear to be suitable for this purpose, therefore, we suggest that we write to the Willard Company, 46, Poland Street, London, W. for a battery similar to the one which has been in use. Particulars of this battery are as follows:-

Type F.S.L.B612. Capacity 5 amps, for 31 hours.
Ampere charge rate - Start 17½, finish 6.
Battery No. 1055502 made for Bijur system.
