Dear Sirs, Replying to your letter of December 21st, we fitted the Layrub Propellor Shaft for a short time to one of our experimental chassis to see whether the flexible coupling would eliminate certain troubles in the transmission. As, however, it effected no improvement, the standard type shaft has been fitted for further tests, and no work has since been done on the layrub one. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
