For the attention of Mr. F.G. Thacker.

Dear Sirs,

Some time ago, whilst discussing post war electrical equipment, we mentioned that we intended using your complete control box, that is, both regulator and cut-out, on one of our post war models.

We also mentioned that we would retain our five fuse scheme, as fitted to our latest cars, but would rather use a combined control and fuse box, similar to your RJF.91 model, than use, as at present, your control box and the R.R. fuse box.

The objection to taking your RJF.91, model lies in the enclosed type fuses. Past experience has convinced us that whereas the tubular type is a source of trouble, the open type is relatively trouble free.

Would it be possible for an RJF.91 model to be supplied having open type fuses?

We have been asked to supply a lighter pair of horns requiring no relay unit. These will be used on a fast car. Can you do anything for us?

We shall be glad to have your advice on the above.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
