HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBERS. P.II.

x7520.
x7960.

We have a pair of rear hydraulic shock absorbers that have now completed their endurance test. Our next concern is to find out if they will now be silent and remain silent on a car fitted with a body susceptible to noisy shock absorbers, i.e. certain types of body show up these knocks far more than others. Amongst your trials cars you doubtless have one that has previously suffered from noisy rear shock absorbers. If you would let us know which car this is, we would arrange to send this pair of shock absorbers down to Cricklewood so they can be fitted to this car, tried for silence, and then left on the car to continue the test for ordinary running conditions.
