V4383 To FHC. BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /Dsl/ML.26.6.23. X.4383. DYNAMO. It is required to build a dynamo of which everything will be standard with the exception of slots in the armature core which instead of being staggered or skewed will be milled straight, and for that purpose we send you herewith one blueprint of D.51055 - Armature Assembly. The following sections will also be required :- D.50598 - Bearing brackets, brush holders and conns. D.50780 - Commutator. D.50612 - Frame & Field Winding. We are building this machine to see if the alteration to armature slots will improve the commutation, but we expect it will be a little noisier than the standard dynamo. Will you kindly put this in hand as quickly as possible. BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /Ds. | ||
